The Bible Camp Ministry combines fun, relaxation, fellowship, teamwork, praise, worship and bible teaching to ensure that all who participate come to know the love of God, are challenged to grow and serve others.
We are the aroma of Christ says 2 Corinthians 2:15, we want all who participate in this Ministry, as a team or a camper, to come out smelling Christ, knowing more about him, in love and challenged to share their transforming experience with others.
A different season
In the 20 years that we as FE have been organizing camps, this is the first time that we will faced the next challenge in the midst of the pandemic caused by Covid-19: to build a season for children and adolescents that is fun, uplifting, challenging, but at the same time safe.
That is why, during the season of Bible Camps 2021 we will take all the biosecurity measures established by the authorities so that children and adolescents are well.
To avoid crowding, a limit of campers (maximum 40) and collaborators for each group has been established. In addition, this year the program of activities of the Bible Camps will only last 3 days and 2 nights.
A protocol has been established for campers to take their temperature before arriving or upon arrival at Camp (37.5 degrees maximum temperature), in addition to twice a day during Bible Camps.
The permanent use of antibacterial gel has been established, as well as the use of masks in closed spaces. In addition, rapid Covid-19 tests will be available for suspected cases.

CAN WE VISIT THE CAMPER AT THE CAMP?
No, at Faro de Esperanza we hope for campers to be focused on the activities and teachings of the week. The visit of a family member could distract them from the goal to be achieved.
Only in exceptional cases the Director of the Ministry will allow a family member to visit a camper on the Camp. If you want to communicate with the Director of Ministries, please contact the following number: 0960297622.
WHAT BIOSECURITY MEASURES WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN THE BIBLE CAMPS?
A limit of campers and collaborators has been established for each group of the Bible Camps. This avoids having an agglomeration of people in the same place. Also, campers will spend less time at Camp.
Upon arrival to the Camp or departure from Guayaquil, on Monday or Thursday, campers must take their temperature. If the camper arrives with a temperature higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius, he will not be able to participate in the Bible Camps and must return home.
WHAT DOES THE CAMPER HAS AT THE BIBLE CAMPS?
The campers have a counselor, with his assistant, who takes care of the physical and spiritual well being of the campers. A cabin, separated according to gender, with a single bed for each camper and a shared bathroom with shower. Three meals a day. A nurse or doctor in charge of the camper’s health. And a lifeguard who takes care, together with the team, of the campers during beach time.
During the days of the Bible Camps, the campers will have antibacterial gel dispensers located in strategic places of the Camp. Campers must make use of them permanently.
Twice a day, campers, per cabin, should take their temperature with the Nurse. If a camper has a temperature higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius, he will not be able to continue participating in the Bible Camps and he will be given a rapid test for Covid-19.
WHAT DOES THE CAMPER NEED TO BRING TO THE BIBLE CAMPS?
Sufficient clothing, towel, soap and / or shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, bathing suit (if you have one), sheets, awning, repellent, a Bible (if you have one) and a notebook and pencil.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A CAMPER HAS COVID-19 SYMPTOMS?
If a camper has a cough and a fever that exceeds 37.5 they will be given a rapid test for Covid-19 at the Camp. If the case is positive, that week of Bible Camps will be canceled and the campers must return home. The Director of the Ministry will communicate this decision to the parents.
