Dear friends, brothers and sisters

Undoubtedly It has been a hard year for all of us everywhere. In Ecuador as you remember we had a hard time, specially in Guayaquil, the city many people you know and care live. In the midst of this darkness there was hope too. Many people were blessed by the food that was delivered to their houses by the project carried out by Faro de Esperanza in Guayaquil, Durán and General Villamil Playas.

It is still uncertain what comes next, we are praying and asking God for guidance. So far we think it is our job to keep bringing hope, in all ways possible.

Based on that, we are inviting you to join us in prayers and, if possible, through support of our annual Christmas program, Navidad de Fe, we arrange every December for our friends and neighbors in Playas, the city that embraces us.

This year and as follow up to the people that were blessed with the baskets of food last April, we will invite specially the families that were benefited in the Ecuador Covid-19 Relief Project. We will welcome them in our facilities for a gathering, a thanksgiving time to thank God for his love, provision and protection.

Based on local and national authorities safety protocols and restrictions, we are inviting 100 people over to have a meal, sing, eat and rejoice while remembering the birth of our Savior. The program will also include a time for the children that will attend that day. We hope to deliver some gifts to around 40 of them. We will ensure that everyone has a great time, while being safe.

Navidad de Fe will take place on December 12, 2020 at 3:30 p.m at our Camp in Playas. We are inviting people from the communities of La Planta, Tiwinza, San Vicente and El Arenal, all of them families who were blessed on the baskets of food project many of you were part of. We have $500 USD already budgeted for this activity yet we hope to raise around $2.000 USD to meet all the needs for this program.
