We are very grateful for your prayers, there has been a few changes within the organization this month, for now we have a new Board of Directors (President and Vice President. We are very happy with what God has done so far, we are always confident of His love and protection for us.
During August, we welcomed to tow different churches, one of them comes 3 times a year, it is a foundation that works with children with special abilities, it is a small group of around 40 people, they do evangelism, baptisms and workshops of spiritual growth, it is always a blessing to serve them. In addition, we had the visit of a church from Quito that came for the first time, they had their youth camp, it was a good time for everyone. We thank God for the opportunity to serve and work for FE, at the same time.
This month, also, we thank God we had the opportunity to meet as the Board for a thanksgiving dinner for the work Daniel Lucas has done for Faro de Esperanza as President. The spouses and wives of the collaborators of FE accompanied us, it was a great time. We were able to thank God and ask for the wisdom and care of the Lord for the new board led by David Dillon and Diana Lucas that took office. I would like to leave you with this prayer request: that God continues to take care of our hearts and lives while He give us the privilege of being part of this ministry.
For the month of September we will have 2 different churches visiting us at the Camp, one of them is from Santo Domingo de Onzole, with about 90 children. Part of the staff of FE Ministries will be collaborating in this program. We will also receive another church from Quito. Usually on September, we do not have rentals, but this year has been different. I always know that God knows our needs and this month is not the exception. Thanks to the Lord’s provision, we have been able to cover the monthly administrative expenses and now the expenses for the Children and Youth Ministries. God has always provided for our needs and we are very grateful for that.
I would like to ask you to continue praying for us, for provision during this year; we have some activities planned for the Ministries that we hope they will happen according to God´s Will. Likewise there are always needs for resources to cover Camp´s maintenance, salaries, basic services, insurance, etc. Pray for the people who are assuming the leadership of FE, and for each one of us to be able to see where God wants to take us.
