Thanks God I have had the opportunity to feel His faithfulness for this ministry, I always get amaze as every end of the month we have to pay salaries, bills, the expenses for the ministries, and there is always funds. Sometimes unexpected things happen and I can asure you that it is God who takes care of us.
The Bible Camp season ended on April, through that time we were witnesses of the transformation that the Lord does on the lives of the people there at Faro de Esperanza Camp. I do not understand How but God touches our hearts in many ways. Only by serving food or going to the market to buy groceries makes you feel that your heart is overflowing with joy, I can also feel that in the sisters that help us in the kitchen during the Bible Camp season, when they spend most of the day cooking for our children or youths, their joy is very contagious as their willing to serve.
One of the many opportunities to see how God uses people to let us know he is in control happened to me one day. I went to get the chickens for the supper and the lady, owner of the business, was waiting for me to give us a box of ice cream with cones for the children of the week at Camp, I think I got even more excited than the kids themselves, even when that I do not like ice cream. This lady does not know much about us or the ministry, so the ice cream box felt like another gift from the Lord, when we got to the Camp the children were very happy to stand in line for their ice cream while playing soccer in an afternoon that was too sunny.
There is so much to thank and pray for. Thanks God this year Iván Montiel joined the Faro de Esperanza team as a full-time collaborator to direct, organize and coordinate the Ministries Faro de Esperanza. I am also thankful for the work of our brother Vicente as he takes care of the Camp facilities. God has been good for letting us have people we love involve at Faro de Esperanza.
In terms of rentals, I would like to tell you that we have some churches that are already scheduled to come to our Camp for their activities, thanks God we have a weekend rented every month until August, we ask that you join us in prayer for more churches to get to know us and can come to do their activities at our Camp, this is a way we cover our monthly expenses at Faro de Esperanza.
Every year in July, as part of the Bible Camp Ministry, we invite our partner churches to join us for the anual family church retreat. We are already thinking about this time, eventhough we still do not know if we will have the funds to cover all the expenses, but We always have acted by faith and have depended in God. I ask you to pray for this specific need, so that God may manifest himself if it is in his will that this activity happens.
There is always a lot to do at Faro de Esperanza, maintenances, new ministries, bills to pay, but God has always been faithful with us. We will keep working trusting that God will take care of our needs, we are so thankful to you that have kept us, the Camp, the Ministries, the people, in your prayers.
