It always pleases me to say that God is faithful because
he really does prove Himself to be faithf
ul. It amazes me how He knows each detail of the Lighthouse of Hope camp and what is needed, and even before we ask he has responded.
God has put each person to work in his ministry and we are looking forward to Christmastime and the activities with the kids, youth and families of the com
munities surrounding camp. It’s exciting f
or us to be able to celebrate and share our God’s love with them.
I have a memory that just filled my heart. I was at the Playas market buying supplies for camp and I saw a boy who has been attending our kids ministry and he came up to me and asked me when he gets to go to camp again. When I told him “Saturday” he got a big smile and asked me, “Is today Saturday?” He wanted me to take him to camp that same day. God has done so much and we are sure that He will continue to show himself and teach us more of his grace and love.
In these last 2 months we have had rentals from some churches which has been a blessing as it’s made it possible to cover the needs of monthly administration and ministry costs. Thanks to God there are new churches that are visiting us about possible rentals and this gives us the opportunity to continue to grow.
We, as a camp board, have been throu
gh some changes but thanks to God we have not felt any different. I am sure it is because we are a family walking in the same direction and pray together that God watch out for us and give us the wisdom that we need to serve Him in the ministry that he has us in.
I ask that you continue to praying with us for: Upcoming Christmas activities, administration and facility maintenance, Vicente and his wife Mariana’s health, members of the camp board and for each detail pertaining to the 2019 camp season.
